Orasay Inn

A perfect place to stay - Last summer, I visited Scotland on a two-week trip from America. I had wanted to visit the Outer Hebrides for a long time, and chose to stay at the Orasay Inn on South Uist for a few days. The owners were incredibly kind, going as far as to drive me to the post office to get some cash when I needed it, and to pick me up from the nearest bus stop when it was raining. The meals I had were great (the haddock was my favorite breakfast dish, and for dinner, I loved the scallops!), the room was cozy, and the location was scenic (especially upon arriving on a gorgeous sunny day). If I ever get to chance to visit the Outer Hebrides again, I would definitely stay here another night!

Wonderful place - Absolutely great place to stay,really good food ,really peacefull ,great views over the loch and mountainsgreat wild life from the door and a really lovely couple who run it, wouldn't even look elsewhere if and when we return to uist

Homely inn, very welcoming, excellent evening meal. - Very welcoming. Room was small but very comfortable. The evening meal was excellent, as was the breakfast. Easy drive from Lochmaddy ferry.
